About Us
The S.M.I.R.E.D FOUNDATION (Seattle Music Is Real Empowerment & Development) is a foundation that empowers and develops minorities of all ages and ethnic groups through programs that teach and educate them in life through music, arts, and entertainment. S.M.I.R.E.D IS THE FOUNDATION that ignites the flame within the communities we claim, giving our youth and less fortunate a voice and identity and exposing them to Washington State, the NW region. We believe it would be a sin for the world to go unexposed to Seattle Music is Real. This ain't a game. It’s a movement.
The S.M.I.R.E.D Foundation exists to make a positive impact within the communities. We aim to ensure quality community service programs that empower, strengthen, and preserve families. In addition, we want to have educational facilities for job search assistance, resume development, tutoring, soft skills training, academic support services and development, entrepreneurial development, character building, and mentoring programs for men and women.
We envision daycare facilities, after-school programs, and building low-income homes that would allow families to experience the American dream of owning a home, which would be fostered through the Foundation.
In addition, we would hold classes that would teach the importance of saving, investing, credit repair, and how to be financially responsible with the given resources.
The S.M.I.R.E.D Foundation for Youth and Family will assist families throughout Washington State, emphasizing Seattle, Washington, and King County. Through our partners and associates, we have supported home-challenged families in Seattle Rescue Mission and those referred from various churches and Businesses.
We believe in the potential of all individuals to embrace who they are, define their future, and contribute to positive change in their communities.
